The novel, 'A Rampage of Chocolate', has been made into a musical film script. The manuscript plus soundtrack is available now for any interested Producers or Directors. 'A Rampage of Chocolate' follows the journey of Laura, an accident-prone, intelligent woman who does not recognise her own value. Consequently the basis of her search for 'love' is flawed; what she is really after is the secure foundation she lacks. The film follows her emotional journey as she wrestles with love, grief, gaslighting and many, hilarious situations. Ultimately she learns the truth about her value and her purpose; only then does everything fall into place.
As with all musicals, the songs will guide the audience through the emotional journey and thoughts of Laura and the other characters. Most of the songs have been written to standalone, so that they can be covered many times over in the future, thus releasing these joy- and hope-filled lyrics to a wider audience. Eg: these are just some of the songs:
'Gaslighting'
- A duet, showcasing the truth behind gaslighting.
'Events Don't Define Me'
- Encouragement when life takes unexpected turns.
'Mr Invisible'
- When you're in love but unnoticed.
'Empty Room'
- Hope when grief comes calling.
'Gonna Dig'
- A gospel-choir-style song with lyrics releasing hope and purpose.
'Chocolate Heaven'
- A chocolate extravaganza because chocolate is worth singing about!
